All our dogs are abused and severe neglect cases, who have been saved from being euthanized. We were their last resort for a chance at life. It would be wonderful if you would be able to open your heart and home for one of them. All our dogs become part of our rehabilitation progam, after they finished their medical care. They live in foster care, while they are professionally evaluated by our trainer, and rehabilitated according to their specific needs. The ultimate goal is to help them to also emotionally recover and get them well socialized. Each one of them is finally learning and allowed to be a dog. We take the time to get to know our dogs very well, which helps us to determine the best home and life situation for each one of them. After we receive a completed application, we will be able to suggest a dog that would be a great match for you. If you are interested in a specific dog, we will be able to tell if you would be a good match. All our dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, house- and crate trained, micro chipped, heartworm negative, professionally temperament tested and evaluated. We require an application, home check and adoption fee. We adopt out of state and help to work out transport possibilities. We do not allow our dogs to fly “cargo”. We have responsible tranporters who will deliver a dog by car, if you cannot pick up the dog. If you live close to us , and already share your life with other pets, then we will do a “meet and greet” with our trainer, at your home, to make sure everybody will get along. The first month is always a “foster-to-adopt” situation, giving you and us the chance to find out if it is really the best life for everybody involved. All our dogs are in foster care and have a safe place and good life with us, until we have found a forever home, no matter how long it will take. We are located in the Hilton Head area, SC.
