On Tuesday (March 10), YUNGBLUD took to Instagram to catch up with his fans and reveal how much he missed them.
Just days after being one of the many acts who was forced to cancel gigs amidst the coronavirus outbreak, the “11 Minutes” singer told fans he was “feeling really weird lately.”
“Right now, when people are canceling tours and the whole world is kind of like stopped, I feel kind of trapped and cooped up,” he said in the video. “I miss you a lot. I miss being on tour… being out on the road and seeing ya that's what I genuinely thrive off.”
In order to make himself feel a little better, YUNGBLUD casually told fans that he's planning on FaceTiming 20 of them on Wednesday (March 11). “As always, I wanna FaceTime ya,” he said. “So drop three black hearts below in the comments and I'm going to pick 20 people cause I can't wait to speak to ya. I miss you all and I can't wait to talk to ya.” BRB, just gonna go spam his post.
Along with hyping fans up to get a potential FaceTime call, YUNGBLUD also reiterated how much his new album is for them and about their shared stories. “All it [the album] is just me and it's you being who we are unconditionally, unapologetically,” he said. “I can't wait for you to hear this record because it's literally only about us and how we're f***ing surviving together and what the process of surviving is together.”
YUNGBLUD hasn't released a specific date for the album just yet, but recently confirmed fans can expect it this summer.
